Join us on Thursday 4 November for a Dutch double bill of drama and comedy!
We’ll start the evening with the first episode of the 4-part TV drama series, “I.M.”, starring Ramsey Nasr, Wende Snijders and Mark Baars. The series, based on writer Connie Palmen’s novel of the same name, tells the true story of the all-consuming love between Palmen and journalist Ischa Meijer.
After a short interval, we’ll then screen the hilarious Dutch comedy film “Luizenmoeder” (“Rebels @ School” in English), starring Jennifer Hoffman, Ilse Warringa and Bianca Krijgsman, based on the hugely popular original TV series. This is definitely one for the fans! With headmaster Anton absent, Year 1 teacher Ms. Ank and her colleagues work hard to get their primary school back on track.
Both screenings will be shown in Dutch with English subtitles. Popcorn and beverages will be available to buy.
Doors open 6.30pm. First screening starts promptly at 7pm.
