‘Matterhorn’, a tragicomedy about loneliness, love and liberation

On Wednesday 22 October, the Dutch Centre screens Matterhorn, starring Ton Kas and René van het Hof.

Ebbinge’s feature film debut is a personal story of enlightenment and shows the dramatic change in Dutch society in the past three decades.

Matterhorn became the first Dutch film in 16 years to score Rotterdam’s Audience Award and won many more awards worldwide.
