It’s back! Every year, we team up with Shortcutz Amsterdam for their Audience Award, an international competition to choose the best Dutch short film of the year. 2023 marks the 10th edition of the competition.
Shortcutz Amsterdam is one of the Netherlands’ favourite platforms for emerging Dutch film talent to showcase their work, engage with an audience nationally and internationally, and connect with established professionals.
The annual shortlist comprises seven nominees selected by a jury team made up of some of the most respected names in the industry. The selected films are screened around the world and audiences are asked to choose what they believe deserves the title of Best Dutch Short Film of the Year.
This year’s tour will run in partnership with 30 national and international partners, including the Dutch Centre in London! Find out more about the seven nominated films here.
Shortcutz will announce the overall winner at the 10th Shortcutz Amsterdam Annual Awards on 22 January 2022 at 20:00 (CET) at Eye Film Museum. The gala will be streamed live on the Shortcutz website.
Come and toast the New Year with us and take part in selecting the Best Dutch Short Film of 2023!
